At 14.00 hrs depart Arusha for Lake Manyara arriving at the lodge in the early evening.  The lodges are situated on the Mto-wa-Mbu escarpment, overlooking the Great Rift Valley and the soda Lake Manyara.

Day 2. Manyara –Ngorongoro

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingoes.  Return from the game drive in time for lunch at the lodge.  After lunch depart for Ngorongoro arriving in the early evening.

Day 3. Ngorongoro

After breakfast at the lodge proceed on a half-day crater tour with picnic lunch.  In the crater, which is considered the “Eighth wonder of the world” you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife including the big five.  The crater has a variety of habitats including grassland, forest and swamp.  The lake on the crater floor is home to flamingoes and many other species of birds.  Return to the lodge in the early evening.

Day 4. Ngorongoro – Arusha

After breakfast depart via Mto-wa-Mbu for Arusha which is reached at by lunch time.
