FCSKC 101

Day 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara

Drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the rift valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara Game Reserve. (Picnic lunch at Masai Mara.) The Masai Mara adjoins Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara is famous for its blackmaned lions and yearly migrations of wildebeest and zebra. Elephants, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelle, Leopards, Giraffe are also found here. Game viewing is done en route to the camp-site and on arrival set up camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2 Masai Mara

A full day spent viewing and exploring this spectacular National Park. All the Big Five can be seen. Masai Mara is also famous for its bird life. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara/Nairobi

Before breakfast, proceed for a short game drive. Return to camp for breakfast. Lunch is served en route at Mai-Mahiu. Arrive Nairobi by late afternoon.

Day 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara

Depart Nairobi at 08.30 hrs for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch is served at Masai Mara. Game viewing is done in the afternoon.

Day 2 Masai Mara

A full day spent viewing and exploring the spectacular Game Reserve. All the Big Five and bird life can be seen. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara

Masai Mara is one of Kenya's premier Game Reserves with stunning scenery and a full and varied selection of animals. Large prides of lions are commonly to be found and the other members of the “Big Five” can also be seen. Every year the Masai Mara is the finishing point of the wildebeest migration an incredible spectacle which involves over one million animals. A full day is spent in this park. A visit to the Masai Village. (Optional)

Day 4 Masai/Nairobi

Before breakfast proceed for a short game drive. Return to Camp for breakfast. Picnic lunch en route at Mai Mahiu. Arrive Nairobi late afternoon.

Day 2 Masai Mara

Full day is spent exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara
A visit to the Masai Village. (Optional) Full day game viewing.

Day 4 Masai Mara/Nakuru

Before breakfast proceed for a short game drive. Depart for Lake Nakuru late morning. Picnic lunch en route. Arrive Nakuru town late afternoon and check in at a lodge in Nakuru town. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5 Nakuru/Nairobi

After breakfast proceed for game drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is world renowned for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the “PINK LAKE'. Besides birds, it is possible to see small game like water buck, impala, buffalo and rhino. Return to lodge at 12 noon for picnic lunch then depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

Depart Nairobi 08.30 hrs, stop for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley. Pass through Elementaita arriving on time for picnic lunch at Nakuru town. Arrive Lake Baringo late afternoon and set up the camp before the hippos start coming on land near the camp site. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 2 Baringo/Bogoria

After breakfast proceed to Lake Bogoria to view thousands of flamingoes and the hot springs, viewing as well Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Kudu etc. Return to Lake Baringo in time for lunch. Boat trip in the afternoon to view many birds, crocodile and hippos. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3 Baringo/Nakuru

After breakfast proceed to Nakuru and check in at the Nakuru town lodge. Picnic lunch to be served at the lodge. Drive to the Lake Nakuru National Park in the afternoon for game viewing. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4 Nakuru/Masai Mara

Depart Nakuru at 08.00 hrs for Masai Mara. Lunch at Mara Camp. Afternoon Game Drive. Meals and overnight at the camp.
