ACACIA CAMP, MASAI MARA

Situated on the edge of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Acacia Camp is located 100kms from Narok town and 260kms from Nairobi.    Acacia Camp is the only tented camp of its kind in the Masai Mara as it caters for the needs of the adventure seeker to the corporate client and even schools and other organised groups.

A stone’s throw away from the Mara Reserve’s Olelemutie gate and only 15kms from the Sekenani gate, Acacia Camp is nestled on 6 acres of manicured grounds sprinkled generously with Acacia Trees and the camp is divided into 2 sections, one which boasts permanent tents each with twin beds and a private porch and another section is an open ground for campers to pitch their tents.

With clean modern ablution blocks, boasting flush toilets and hot water showers, plus 24 hour security, our guest's comfort and peace of mind is guaranteed.  The tents do not have electricity in them and candles and smoking are not allowed in the tents.  Generator lighting is available in the eating area and the ablution block.

The camp faces the scenic Meguarra Hills and the stream that meanders by at the bottom of the camp is a particularly attractive feature, not only to the camper but also to the game that drop by for a drink.

Masai dances around the evening bonfire and Manyatta visits are some of the culturally enriching activities on offer at Acacia Camp.  There are three well-lit cooking areas where campers can prepare meals.
